Jeanie Scherrer Ismay, a principal of the firm, focuses her practice on toxic torts. Her litigation experience includes construction defect, personal injury, subrogation, insurance coverage, and lead paint claims. She has tried cases in federal and state court, representing both defendants and plaintiffs.
Ms. Ismay previously worked in the litigation department of a Baltimore law firm for nearly a decade. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable James E. Seibert in the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.

Ms. Ismay is a member of the Maryland State Bar and the United States Court for the District of Maryland. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, and the Baltimore County Bar Association. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar’s Ethics Committee.
Ms. Ismay received her B.A. in English Literature from West Virginia University and her Juris Doctor from University of Baltimore in 1999.
When she is not practicing law, she enjoys running, leading her Girl Scout Troop, teaching Sunday school, and singing with the Baltimore Bach Choir where she serves on the Board of Directors.
