Rebecca H. Bossle focuses her practice on insurance coverage, including issues pertaining to commercial general liability policies, Businessowners’ liability policies, and Directors & Officers liability policies. Her litigation experience includes insurance coverage disputes and insurance defense claims, such as lead-based paint and other personal injury claims.
Ms. Bossle wrote a case capsule for DRI’s Covered Events regarding a federal court’s interpretation of Maryland’s first-party failure to act in good faith statute. She coauthored two sections of a DRI Compendium on Attorney’s Fees and Declaratory Judgment Actions (Kansas and South Carolina). She contributed to an article by Steven E. Leder, Litigating Liability Insurance Coverage, published in the Maryland Defense Counsel’s Defense Line. She has also prepared in-house training materials for a client on how to prevent fraud in property insurance.

Ms. Bossle is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Maryland State Bar Association.
She is a member of the Bar of the State of Maryland and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
Ms. Bossle received her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2003. She received her B.A. cum laude in Economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2000, where she was a member of the Honors Program.
When she is not practicing law, Ms. Bossle volunteers at her children’s schools. She also edits an online newsletter for the Pinewood Elementary School Parent Teacher Association and helps to maintain their website.
